I would recommend also an assortment of the 5in and 40mm guns for point defense in case he comes charging at you as the 406mm takes some time to load

Load high explosive shells into your 406mm guns for maximum destructive power against Roxas

Istg roxas wasn't this strong at the beginning of the game

I need help on how to beat him tho, I use reflera, know how guard some of his attacks and I use my limits correctly

and then he uses his vicinity combo which is just bullshit at this point because you only have about 6 frames to block, it's undodgable and don't even think about popping a potion cuz he's gonna make your hp nonexistent

What should I use more against him, ground combo or air combo?

Last time I did it was months ago now. But from what I remember don't rely on items so much as just use cure then dodge as much as you can when mp is recharging. Probably ground combos are better... It took me a good few tries to do it so you're not alone. Its just been so long. I'm sorry I'm not sure how much a help I can be

Don't be "passive" but definitely be on guard. Attack when you have an opening and be wary of his speed. With these harder fights it's about being patient, getting in what damage you can without being greedy, and staying in the fight with guarding, dodging, and being on top of it with heals.
