yah theres some rumor going around that nomura cant use genisis and wessis and the third dude because of gackt

since he modelled all three of them after him and he voiced them and some beef between them

yeah icel which is the issue because nomura want to expand the ff7 universe

they may make a new story, ignore it or make new appernaces for the charaters

in the original game they did well enough without them

they just went the anime route by adding side character to have enough content for side games

that they did but weather u hate it it not its part of the story lol
