SOunds like nomura is recycling vsXIII's mechanics haha

Given that it seems the way buttons are set up
Triangle > Limit
Square > Attack
circle > Command menu (assuming items, summon/magic etc)

then x > jump button ?

Nomura? Recycling things? Surely you jest

VIIR takes the gameplay aspect and Verum Rex (?) takes the story elements ?

he has done that before lol

yeah frank like that

plus verum rex's character is basically noctis

So gotta look forward to Square's E3 conference for more FF7Re news

im feeling the FF 13 meets KH battle system if x is going to be used for jump

Maybe gameplay is gonna be similar to Type 0's

cuz that bar and limit are only in battle

also command menu can be used at any point ????

command menu is shortcuts

or like the special moves things in 15

but why not just map shortcuts to the same button as it is in KH 3

And there might be more to the command menu that we haven't seen yet

Yeah it honestly looks more like ff15 than 3. Especially with cloud it feels very like how noctis or gladio would play whenever they weilded heavy weapons

yes

thats the command menu

you get to shortcuts by [ressing circle then l1
