And he was hurt, yes, but it seemed like he was fine, he was jumping around and shit.

Yeah, but that seems more on the bounty side

I think a lot of the sequel trilogy is good in concept, it just falls apart in execution.

Eh, I wouldn't go as far as call TLJ "well made"

Not really, the movie is built on many convoluted plot points

They are part of the same, Mup

Like, even people who don't give a shit about the series called out how stupid the Holdo plot was

lmao, it was soooo bad.

It was, why did Holdo now tell the plan to the fleet captain

Marsh calm down

I mean, I'm not saying Luke is a perfect human, but surely he wouldn't abandon his family at their time of most necessity

"My sister's and best friend's son, whom I trained, has rebelled and is on a killing spree, and that was kinda my fault. I could go and try to improve on things, but I guess I'll isolate myself in an island and die."

Yeah, iirc Luke closed himself from the force.

So that would make sense, but I still don't really buy it.

I accept that he could have ended like that, just feels a bit hard to swallow.

I mean, I don't like it, but I don't hate it.

Nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrddddddddddddddddsssssss

If anything TLJ had a similar effect on me as KH3, making me lose interest and investment in their respective series.

Yes, at the same time it felt a bit out of character that Luke's first instinct would be to try and kill Ben. Feels like a last resort thing to me.

Perhaps?

No, I'm saying perhaps you're correct

Luke definitely wasn't going to kill Ben, that's undeniable.

lol

Missremembering things can be a bitch.

Yeah, I actually haven't watched TFA again since when I watched it on cinemas in January of 2016

So I'm not up to shape on it

I have watched many videos analyzing TLJ though.

That movie was interesting, I wanted to know more about it.

Well, depends on the video.

Like, Major Lee's video defending the movie was terrible.

"Why are you complaining about there being women in the film? You get to look at women!"

It's also, y'know, kinda sexist?

lmao

It's a shame British accents are a huge turn off for me

And she's a tad weird.

Her laugh is kinda scary.

No, scary.

Giggles are sexy.

xionsmug

Oh

Scary = sexy.

I see how it is.

"Why are you complaining about there being women in the film? You get to listen to women!"

Fixed the argument

Eh, I haven't seen many sexistisms

lol

Marey Sue

darkness

No, no sparing.

This took completely away from the D23 stuff

D23 trailer

Oh, right

quack

Feeling the force =/= being the bees knees with it

But yeah, RoS

He was very sensitive, but I doubt he would be able to lift all those rocks like Rey did.

Like, I don't think it makes no sense for random people to be force sensitive, it's just weird to see such proficiency right out the bat.

Like Rey being able to exert force mind control after being aware that it existed for 5 minutes.

Yes.

I don't think it's bad that Rey can do all that stuff, it's just that it seems a bit rushed without all the training.

So seems like my fight coreography gripe might change now

Saw the D23 trailer

Rey throwing it through the tree and getting it back is the type of stuff I want to see

It's also a matter of framing for me, Marsh.

Like, that scene where she lifts the boulders, it would've been cool if she visibly struggled with it. Maybe took a bit of time, like, she was using her full force. But the way she does it, it feels like she wasn't even trying.

I mean, there are different levels of strong.

She could still appear to be strong, even struggling.

It could've added more urgency to the scene.

I just think it would've been nice, you know.

Maybe even add to her character.

Adding more determination to her effort.

Like, "I WILL LIFT THOSE BOULDERS!!!"

But that's the thing, it could've been both.

It's not like people who struggle aren't strong.

I don't think weight lifters are weak just because they make those funny faces.

I doubt it.

But anyways.

Maybe? No real way to know though.

Maybe? We don't know how the weight of the combined rocks compare to the weight of an X-Wing

And Luke struggled trying to lift it.

I wouldn't be so sure.

There are dense rocks that are firetrucking heavy.

Booooooooo

?

Nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrddddddddddddddddsssssss

quack

Maybe there is a better argument to be made, I'm just not invested enough to come up with it.

I hope RoS is awesome, that's as far as it goes.

Didn't he actually say "firetruck it, I'm doing whatever I want"

Cheers for time travel

quack

"You are a loser boi, Kylo Ben"

"Let me teach you a lesson with me blue lightning"

BZZZZZZZT

time travel is already introduced in rebels guys and closed off unless they found another way and a different methods

inb4 Rebels is declared non-canon.

Just because JJ said "firetruck it"

its canon

disney declared it canon

enjoy!

people are thinking theres two reys one is the actual one (with the dual saber) and the clone is a good one.

that meant they are reusing force unleashed's clones story

aka starkiller's story

you didnt notice his eyes?

its red!

@Marsh Okay.. no joke? SW fans accept the lego star wars movie with C3PO as the canon reasoning for why he lost his arms

Yes,you heard me right.. not that bad actually

but that's where he got his red arm from
