while easy, at least his fight was an evolved version of the Kh2 fight

felt fresh still

Maybe you'll be lucky and he DMs at startup

i can try to summarize the dm for you

if that would help

it's ingrained into me

when he starts it

He does two red lasers that you can block
Then 2 blue lasers you have to dodge (You can airstep to him after the second blue laser and stagger him)

afterwards, he'll spawn these red circles of sorts really quickly on the ground and try to bait you

he'll appear briefly but if you're in the middle of rolling he tends to vanish. He'll only hit you if you're vulnerable

Yeah xigbar is dumb

You can either time your guard well, or keep dodging at the exact time he keeps baiting you

once you pass that part, you'll be gravitated towards the edge of the arena

Day 1 of limit cut 2/13 done

there'll be a pattern here. He'll always spawn a blue laser and then 2 red ones

he does 2 in a row and does them in succession

so blue laser and then 2 reds right in a row, brief pause, and then the same sequence again

once that is done, the arena turns white and he spawns gigas

i usually try to dodge roll around them. That tends to work

he then spawns clones of himself and attacks you, you can guard it

arena goes back to normal. He'll go on a rampage with his clones. You can dodge the beginnings of it which has a blue laser and guard the rest

(When he throws his sword in the midst of this, and you guard it, you can go stagger him and damage him for a bit which will skip this phase)

then the end of the dm comes where he turns the arena white and he summons clones again. You can guard it. Finally, he spawns a red orb that sucks you in. You have to time your dodges which are good to do every second or so, don't spam it. I recommend dodge rolling around the arena instead of just forward. If you get past him attacking you, you can glide to avoid the suction of the orb.

the DM occurs when he's at half health normally

Dammit these bosses they are quite possibly be the hardest collection of bosses in the series

his moveset does change a bit after it

it's not too drastic. He tends to use blue lasers instead of red

I tried vanitas and his dm seems pretty crazy, but most else about him seems manageable

So the dm is it blockable ?

For vanitas

parts of it are

you can block his clones that slash you, but not the keyblades he hurls

That makes it pretty hard

I am so mad at xigbar right now

I had xigbar at half health when I went into combo, the combo missed him, somehow

And then Sora didn’t jump when I pressed the circle button so he killed me

It so looooooong

it is very long

His health is too big for how tedious he is

Except when you have to dodge the blue ones

The dm says otherwise
