So far my favorite parts of re:mind are the playable characters, explorable Scala, the Guardians of Light vs Xehanort and the Story adding more to the original plot making it feel more complete.

is so frustrating to have a mobile game all about the keyblade war that has not once brought up the X-blade as a significant part of this story

that and No Name is supposed to be the oldest keyblade

yx says so in recoded 2.5

i am assuming he means like the oldest actual keyblade

not the oldest special keyblade like the X-blade

Of all keyblades master xehanort's is the most ancient

said somthong like that

also also kingdom key is like the keyblade of the realm of light so i guess it might also not count

We don't know how long ago that one was created

And it was YX who said it

From his perspective, it's the oldest one that's still around

He probably got the knowledge of this oldest from his school thing

I think MoM made it before any of the events in Back Cover but it's not his real Keyblade.

Isn't it also referred to as The Gazing Eye now or was that the name before the current one?

because it was writtten

Whenever we see his face or something is better be very anticlimactic and he's going to say something like what are you disappointed did you expect something more

ok i wrote a bit, i will post it tomorrow cause I'm going to sleep soon

writing everything out is nice to see holes and incoherences

something that still irks me about kh3 is a lack of explanation of xehanort even using the heartless, nobodies, or unversed anymore

Didnt MoM model the keyblades after the x blade?

So it couldn't be the oldest one?

Pretty sure YX said that with the x blade being the exception because nobody had it at the time

I mean, Vanitas creates the Unversed so he controls them. Xemnas most likely controls the Nobodies like he did previously and Ansem for the Heartless.

yes, but canonically the heartless, nobodies, and unversed had a purpose in their respective games

But then the Key to the realm of the light. The Key to the realm of darkness and perhaps the kingdom key all seem older than No Name

in kh3 its just "oh go beat em up, they're in the way"

Especially considering two of them dont belong to an individual

its also on the wall in his classroom

The Heartless and Nobodies interacting with each other is weird

But I guess since Xenmas and Ansem are both powerful forms of both they would obey

Nobodies definitely obey Xenmas

like okay in kh1, ansem uses the heartless to destroy worlds, that way he can summon kingdom hearts, in kh2 nobodies and heartless had a purpose of collecting hearts for the organization

They said they are servants to the org.

in kh bbs, unversed are used as a tool by vanitas to force character like aqua and terra to go explore the worlds, which leads ventus to do the same

Also the Heartless are basically controlled by people with enough strength in darkness

Kh1 showed us this

but like, they are never given an outright reason for using them against sora
