Kingdom Hearts already has time travel so it wouldn't be as egregious

but it needs plot ghost

It's not that time travel in ff7 is bad it's more so that it's introducing it when it never happened in the 7 considering this is a "remake"

and then the whole “this is what will happen if we fail here today” and it shows scenes from the original and AC. But I guess that’s the point? That you can’t change fate???

Fate and destiny none of that played a role in the original story it's all new for the remake

this was just saying dont fight your fate while making it seem like the ending of ff7 and acc as the bad endings

Tbh, this new trend of media dunking on fans is kinda rude

I didn't like it when teen titans did it, didn't like it when thunder cats did it, I would hate it if KH did it, and the only reason I'm not mad FF7R did it is because I don't give a firetruck about FF as much

The devs and/or people justifying things like this because "hah this in game lore is meant to be salty fans hah" is just hurtful

They added a "joke" where an older style version of one of the characters was like brutally killed and it was played for laughs

I think Fate and Destiny are so vital this time because FF7 happened already and this is kind of like a separate timeline. Like I was talking to Otti about earlier. Aerith and Seph are connected to the lifestream so they could easily have knowledge of future events that may have previously transpired in a different timeline.

She doesnt know everything but she knows a lot more than she has said already.
