There's probably a decently clear timeline for the KH-verse TWEWY cast that we'll be getting more info on in the next game.

1. KH-verse TWEWY gang resides in Quadratum
2. Gang dies, enters the "game"
3. Through death, they're connected to The Final World, and from there, slip into the dream world on the Disney side, ending up in Traverse Town bc that's where people who are lost tend to go.
4. After DDD, end up back in Quadratum

Not two different versions, just the same one slipping into ours bc of very unique circumstances

which is my cracktheory on how we'll be seeing them in the next game

yes, but that could mean the "Shibuya" TWEWY gang is from, aka the original game, is not the same as the Shibuya section of Quadratum, the one these guys are from. Bc we know Quadratum has a section that looks just like Shibuya already

he's basically confirming that this is not the same gang from TWEWY, but a KH-verse version of them

just like leon and gang are not from FF

Shibuya in quadratum is not twewy Shibuya but is still where the gang resides

well 5 hours till the reveal so we'll see

i doubt this reveal will be related to kh but i still think the next kh game that explores quadratum will have them lol

If we see TWEWY gang it’ll be in the same style as FF characters. They’re there. But not really important. I mean they shouldn’t be. Great music in that game as well. But I truly think they’re looking at that Verum Rex commercial as our vanilla set up.

If anything wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a mobile title in relation to TWEWY. That or a proper sequel. But honestly what made the FF characters great was that I knew who Leon and Cloud were but not their story. Their story didn’t factor that much importance to the plot. They were more as a device to bring up the themes of Sora or Riku. Maybe Kairi.

Cuz for REAL. Kairi working under Aqua ALREADY sounds like a spin off game if there isn’t one especially for Quadtratum. It’s so strange how they specifically made sure each character had a specific destination by the end of MoM

Also, notice, how Nomura in the interview is using "hirgana" / "katakana"
Meaning, another "Shibuya" not real "Shibuya"

But still, notice too, that in the TWEWY original Game
Hanekoma says to Neku "This Shibuya, isn't your Shibuya as you know"

We're talking about Square' characters here
But, let's remember, that Disney's characters are also KH-verse version

(Both FF and Disney, doesn't mess with their original universe)

I also think, it could be a game where we're exploring FFs worlds with Sora/Riku, but keeping a little touch with Disney with Kairi/Mickey

(Like until now, KH was Disney worlds with a bit of FF, it could be reversed by turning FF worlds with a bit of Disney)

Careful. Disney REALLY put the boot into KH. They barely got to stray from the original story or have as much fun and creativity like let’s say Beauty and the Beast KH2 or Alice in Wonderland KH1. They all existed either as a retelling or a sequel of some sort. Those being the most unique. I think their most original story was truly Toy Story. Monsters Inc was super cute tho. But it’s very obvious Disney has gotten tighter on their properties.

I feel like Kairi is the one who will be undergoing different Disney worlds with Aqua. Something that could help transfer either Sora back to her OR bring her world closer to Yozora’s. Whatever the case maybe. Think DDD where it was all just one long test to get Aqua outta Hell essentially.

Probably. Like Riku and Mickey going to the World of Darkness despite getting to visit it vastly in BBS0.2 and BBS where it was very fun and had an amazing theme.

Like 0.2 was soooo trippy and the music was GORGEOUS!!!

The design and the settings were so creative and dark

I was legit hoping that KH3 would have us playing basically a Last of Us 2 style scenario where we are trying to get out of the World of Darkness with Aqua. Not just cutscene. Boss fight. Cut scene. Boss fight. Sora arrives. Boss fight.

You just may as well have said they spent a long time and found her at the beach and that’s that on that till Sora arrives cuz Riku and Mickey accomplished nothing really. Not truly.

I also legitimately thought we might see a ff character in the realm of darkness ngl, Ardyn would fit perfectly into the realm of darkness

after MoM I want MORE Disney involvement in the plot. Having Fairy Godmother be as involved as she was great. It’s part of what KH3 was missing.

I knew we wouldn’t see one before the game released. They have made no attempt before the release to wink at us. And well they did include Noctis. But rebirthed as Yozora cuz Noctis is very different from the original idea. So tech we did have a FF original.

If Nomura gave a crap about ff15 anymore he might’ve done something like that

I never want as much Disney involvement as we had with KH3

Kh is a balance, and that balance was way too off
