I think you need a specific star color for it

Or it’s like once a certain area has been cleared

You get these stars for doing tasks in a world

So I am guessing you need to do a specific task to get the star to open that world

The red star is the last type

None of these are exactly red though so idk I’m not too sold on that idea

But my point is there's no star count on the top of the gate

maybe you have to make it into the world tour thing a certain amount to unlock the red star gates

That one darkened world has a cutscene in it too

oh maybe theres a cutscene of aqua, ventus, and terra in the realm of darkness looking for sora
