if the song is fast enough, doing that could also cause you to miss the next few notes bc it thinks you're doing the input for the next note

but for the most part that does work

also includes performer notes

i play mainly with l/r so when theres a performer part that has 2 enemies and zl/zr at the same time i just hit all 4 shoulder buttons at once with no worries
