that's ffx + ffx-2. it unfortunately doesn't make clear how the remaster counts as sales because technically it's 2 games.

It's impressive how much games like FFXV sold in comparison because the game is already at 10 million and didn't get multiple ports on multiple platforms

FF7 Remake was revealed to have reached 5 mill in late 2020

Much higher now with the PC and PS5 release too probably

it's a great time to be a FF fan. X, VII, XIV and XV are all doing great

Well they were in the talks about doing alot of FF related projects, like Kitase talking about doing an FF5 Remake, and FF7R project development team talk about doing FFX-3 next

I doubt X-3 is ever happening and X holds up pretty well already with the remaster so I don't think that will happen either

they will probably focus on some other games to remake first, 5 and 6 would most likely be the ones

Unless they are trying to like make it a trilogy like FF13 and FF4 a little bit, yeah most likely they will focus on FF5 remake

FF9 remake is apparently in the works that we know thanks to the Nvidia leaks, now we are just waiting on confirmation by Square

Unfortunately Kitase, Nomura and Nojima seem to have unironically a lot of interest in X-3. I can't find the interview right now but they got asked in an interview about X-3

I hope FF9R is really just the game with better gameplay and graphics

the episode style fits FF7 because they can use it to include all the compilation stuff but in the case of FF9 I really want just the game

If X-3 ever happens with that trio then it will be in 8 years time
