Tips on defeating the Argent Wolf boss?

Well...that's a tough one, I took him out with one handed sword but I think two handed weapons work well too but I can't remember the blood code I had during that fight, I believe it was your characters personal one for healing regeneration when taking damage and don't be afraid to block and parry when you need too

I’m currently trying to stock up on blood cartridges because he’s weak to them.
