They will not. Sony said they won't use discs by 2028 which mean ps6-psWhatever number is the final one will be digital only

They said they won't be making more, nothing about them not continuing it for preservation

With them adding a separate disc drive for ps5 pro and the revision model, I would be surprised if that wasn't a thing for ps6
