I decided to give Black Torch a chance. Yes I'm aware of what happened to the source material (it got canceled). The synopsis made me think it was a weird fusion of Naruto and Blue Exorcist but after watching it, it's more like a weird fusion of Fire Force and Blue Exorcist lol. Is it the 'same old same old' trope? Sure maybe but I still enjoyed the first episode honestly. We'll see where it goes. Besides I needed something to watch otherwise this seasonal would have been literally only Bleach TYBW Part 4 for me. Unless The Cat and The Dragon gets an english dub which is looking incredibly unlikely currently.
