I don't remember for sure. The MCU wiki says he's alive, but that's not exactly a definitive source. But also, I'm at work and can't pull up the movie on Disney+, so I'm gonna have to side with the wiki for the time being

not sure if he was dead in the final cut, but i think it was strange that said something about a run in with him. it was like a throwaway line and felt like it was thrown in so they could say hey we didn't forget about that plotline from the first movie's post credits, we just dont wanna do it lmao

yeah, the throwaway line was kinda weird. on the one hand, it helps sell the idea that he hasn't just been off doing his own thing, but at the same time it deprives us of knowledge that seems like it'd be helpful to have

somehow i ended up breaking a script required to complete chapter 2 - we have to talk to jessie at the train but she wont move to the next carts, and its impossible to go back after the objective is enabled
