It's not a huge loss to Sony

Because of the different tiers and their prices, it's still going up despite the loss of users

the number is pretty incredible

considering how little they offer for higher tiers

The second tier is the best one to get, nice collection of games

From a business perspective it makes sense. Why get more users when you can simply charge more per existing user?

Shoutout to Duckstation, Beetle PSX, PCSX2, PPSSPP and RPCS3

Gotta counter the number of people who just use account sharing via home/primary console settings

Especially the latter for doing something Sony would never do
