Yeah the field trip stuff is basically how the game seems to run from here on out it's going to go in between the school and the field trips

It's still your typical RPG stuff you're going to be going around doing things you would expect any RPG but each thing is separated into arcs with the field trip

there is a massive break in the formula in later chapters but, that's how it generally goes

i saw Horseback riding on a Overworld in the trailer

yeah

you get to that in this chapter, i remember where you go now

chapter 3 is

a very mixed bag for me due to how it was when i first played it

having first played cs1 and 2 on ps3, there was no turbo and the area you explore in chapter 3 is easily the biggest in the game
