what's everyone playing right now, i don't know what to play until crash 4...

I played Daxter on PSP the other day

i played it too long time ago

wonder if they are ever going to bring back that license

If it's the same quality than The Lost Frontier or fulled of SJW propaganda, I hope not

But I must admit, the OST of The Lost Frontier is beyond great

i think i stopped at jak3 because i didn't like it

didn't know about that lost frontier game just the racing one

The racing one was great even though it felt a bit... impersonal

To answer the question, I doubt anyone cares, but I'm playing Persona Q2 right now.

Persona ?

I mean, when I saw it was the composer of Epic Mickey's OST, I gave that J&D a chance

The game sucks (Dark Daxter... DARK DAXTER for firetruck's sake)

But that OST is gold

Ah the good ol days when lazily making a dark version of the protagonist was the norm

I actually found Light Jak in the 3rd game awesome

And Krew in Renegade made a fun and cruel villain

But the needlessly dark turn took by every sequels was meh

That music alone made me buy the game

(don't judge me, at first I bought the first KH only because I was addicted to the music used in the French trailer (Destati))

@Epheymer Aha! There's another trend of the 2000's! Pointlesly making franchises dark and edgy.

Prince of Persia got it too

In the mainstream new licences of the time, only Ratchet & Clank remained quite faithful to its roots

Even though they introduced a bit of drama in the Future trilogy

Thank god something stayed faithful. Even Zelda wasn't safe.

I have nothing against gritty settings but this trend of making a sequel gritty when the former one was cutesy will always baffle me

I mean, making a separate sub-series of gritty things, sure

But a direct sequel

Why?

I mean, a spinoff is one thing, but another game in the same series? No. Do not approve.

Nooow, the FFX sub-series introduced a pop world in its sequel
