luminous staff actually worked on FF16 and I only know that because of Barry simping on Twitter for them

the best part about the new engine is the hair and the character / materiaI Iighting

but outside of that it's pretty standard
to the point idk why they made a new one

it wouldve been fine if they used UE5 but I feel they didnt want to have the whole team relearn a different engine

we've had Iike, 3 UE5 games thus far
one of them is Fortnite, which uses aII features at a dynamic 4k 60fps on PS5
some random fighting game that if I didn't teII you used UE5, you wouIdn't know
and ofc, immortaIs of aveum
