he just do what toriyama tell him to do with the manga. he draw and write the manga from whatever toriyama told him to do via outline etc etc

so can't he continue it from where toriyama's work ends, should it come to that? it sounded like he was put in a position of power where that would be feasible (like a "training your successor" kind of thing)

no. the publisher has total control over the manga
