Did toriyama work on DQ11? I thought it was the successor. If so I think that series will be relatively fine.

indeed he did, toriyama was the primary character designer on that game

the main characters is what I'm certain of, any new monsters I'm unsure about

Yeah I'm curious too; Toriyama hasn't done every thing for Dragon Ball. Most of the animated movies were written by someone else, and he didn't usually go full hands on with scene direction. He was always a minimal a producer though

But like the Super Manga for example; he gave ideas, plot points and a general flow, and even some dialouge, but it was drawn and written at least 70%-80% by his understudy

I honestly feel mixed regarding this

I can see the advantage of not having likes

but I also see all the disadvantages
