Insomniac’s done good muItipIayer before, but those’ve been games with shooting as the primary mechanic

Id imagine it was given a no just do to the sheer scale that was asked of the project, and with

Venom Spin-off, Spider-Man 3, Wolverine, new ip, and Ratchet game

there was simply no time for it or budget that would require it

i think the key thing is "how many people wanted to take these single-player gameplay segments and do them with other people" and honestly, i think it kinda misses the mark there
