each character had their own sidestory with 10 link events and at the end of an event you unlock new skills

sometimes link events also unlocked quests you need to do in the dungeon crawling part

thing is i fail to imagine any story being worth reading if there is no exploration outside of the dungeon

and all 2-3 months you had one main story event

that also came with a deadline

not meeting the deadline = game over

gameplay is more managing your days
