Depends on the game honestly

I think new IPs should have a year or two to build up to it, just to show what the game is and all that

But established ones I prefer just announcing them and they are out in the next few months or next year

New ips need to build up interest, so waiting two years is fine, returning ips should be next year or 1 and a half of a year after announcement.

Unless it gets delayed, Ghost of Yotei is a good example of this
