These game companies get away with crunch and abuse and do nothing about it, and gamers would rather forget it ever happened then hold them accountable

Activision, Blizzard, Ubisoft, even Square and From Soft, all have history of systemic abuse and protecting harassers, but everyone would just rather pretend nothing bad happens because "I just want to enjoy the video games." That's why nothing changes.
