Kind of. All these shonen jump titles gets leaked so what happened was people saw an out of context and badly translated part of Deku's ending and that's been stuck with him ever since despite the official translation making it work much better.

That stigma kinda lasted so I am curious how that will last with the anime ending out now

what Otti says and also the epilogue was too short which is why they added more stuff in the past months

Shigaraki should’ve been the endgame villain, having AFO back like that sucked

Hori wanted to make him quirky (pun intended) but he absolutely failed with AFO compared to deku

like you can do that but the execution was just absolutely fucking horrible and came out of nowhere

especially because you have another character in the story that has a similar motivations

and is 10k times better written

AFO was so much cooler when he was just a one dimensional asshole

giving him reasons made his entire character worse
