3 years but that is a lot for a kid. Atreus looks older so its not a surprise they are recasting for an older one.

All of the interviews when it comes to the ending/AC is just them playing both sides, its been constantly like that

They did the same with Aerith's death and look at the confusing mess we got despite technically having the same thing happen

Its easier to just ignore these interviews and just focus on when they talk about the gameplay because you actually get something meaningful then
