I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

no i didn't. i turn the ping off unless i specifically need to get someone's attention. respectful can confirm

Same here, I have the original japanese psp port, but yeah it's hard without a translation patch, scratch that I did have a patch on it but it makes my game crash, so no go eitherway. So yes glad at least I have a playable native one as well, I'm not complaining

I’m in this other server

Complaining about Star Wars lore being unreasonable

Then I realized I’m a KH fan so like… who am I kidding

JK Star Wats has more unreasonable lore

A 7yo bit made better AI then an army

they are frame perfectIy the same

couIdn’t timestamp on mobiIe but

it’s at 05:32, the easiest to spot cutscene simiIarity

heII the cameras are IiteraIIy in the exact same position

It feels more like a remake than a remaster.

honestIy, the remade assets to reused assets ratio is too high for me to caII it a remaster personaIIy

I have a good example for this as well, and this goes to Shadow of The Coloussus

not to mention, CCR pIays differentIy too

oh absoIuteIy
pIays identicaI, but every asset was remade

oh hey an officiaI channeI comparison

neat!

man aII this does is remind me how ridicuIousIy gorgeous this game’s scaIe is especiaIIy on PS2

I think it is what you define remake against remaster. Like, FF7R was actually a remake from the originally game, they rewrote some story plots and all that stuff. Meanwhile we have stuff like SOTC remake, they they used the same build up from the OG ps2 game, but made everything with better graphics and added content.

I mean sure but-- you can just like remake the game frame for frame lol

7R is unique cause it is a remake just not as we expected lol

that’s the thing though
the cutscenes are reused so they are the same

So what'd they do did they just like import the CC skeleton and animated over it?

weII
yeah
that’s how it appears
Iike l said, the character Iimits and the cutscene animations are 1:1 outside of effects

and ofc, the character modeIs

beIieve me l onIy noticed it right away cuz l’ve pIayed CC to heII and back

hmmmm

My point is, i feel like remasters are the same exact game, like the same style and everything, but with clean graphics and fixed up some issues.
Remakes can be either rewrite some parts of a story AND ofc better graphics and can change anything, but still have the same feeling as the original, or just have the same story, just with updated graphics and added in content(?)

You don't look at kh 1.5 and say that's a remake because it still had the same stuff going on in the OG kh1, but had added in content due to the Xemnas fight and all the other new things that got in 1.5

Idk.

I might just be dumb

So here's the thing

Well KH1 in 1.5 is KH1FM which wasn't a remake nor a remaster

1.5 is an HD remastee
But KH1FM wasn't really
