During the final Sakurai Presents for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai revealed that the title's final DLC character is Sora from Kingdom Hearts!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the fifth instalment in the popular crossover fighting game series featuring various Nintendo and other third-party characters.

Previously, on Twitter, former Kingdom Hearts series executive producer Shinji Hashimoto expressed his interest in Sora joining the Super Smash Bros. series in a playable capacity, but he later deleted the tweet.

you'd think they would have done oathkeeper or something for sora

my one thing is I would have liked to see more of his transform weapons but I guess cause keys are disney related

yeah but the problem is the mickey head chain

they could only but the kingdom key LOL

cause disney can be a bit of a strict mom bout anything relating to mickey symbols

man Im watching the video again and the way sakurai says "timeless river" its like a jo jo move

timeless river make sense

it fit the entire smash universe

You know, I think LifeLight (Ultimate's theme) was written to introduce Sora into Smash but it took a few more years than anticipated

you know, sora's smash model would make sense for a kh1 remake on ps5 or future gens

its so simple and clean

speaking of sakurai. i feel like this is his way of saying goodbye to smash by introducing sora

I was dead certain it was dark souls until my friends who had less of a delay than me started screaming about the keychain :kekw:

i was working the morning sora was announced

but i got back 5 minutes into the showcase

I knew i'd probably be seeing the trailer

so i held my breath and clicked on it, the moment the video loaded It was the keyblade on screen

for the next 15 minutes i was just going " YES, YES, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
