counterpoint: they don't even wait to do shitty ideas these days. they just shove it into whatever part of the canon they want, or retcon it after it tanks and call it "just a dream" or something

i would like to offer my two pence on the subject of a never ending series. i find that canons that go on for ever are in constant danger of undermining themselves. this is usually due to having to constantly change writers who are all determined to leave their mark on it. so this is a concern i have for KH and i do wonder if it could happen to it. there are however several never ending canons who seem to able to get around this just by not letting canon bother them in the slightest. which can't work for KH cause it's story heavy. in short while i would certainly hate to see it come to an end i do dread what will happen when normua leaves

I do not want KH to turn into One Piece or another long af series

Because there will be so many flaws in the story and too many characters to remember

Heck I can't even remember all of the One Piece characters' names

So imagine KH if it continues after the Lost Master arc

it can continue but it needs a soft reset imo. It's already something I hope for KH4

though it's usually really hard to make the old audience care for new stuff

if you guys want to feel old. Nomura is 52 new. If we get a KH game all 5-7 years we will get 3-5 mainline games at max until he probably retires

I'm still not on board with KH continuing after the next saga because what else is there? What else? And if Sora isn't the new protagonist, what new character is gonna take my golden boy's place and become a significant character?
