ah a person with excellent taste

Bad news on Kh4. There is no good news

At this point, we gotta get a tease or something at SGF

Because this is actually ridiculous

Is there a Playstation or Square direct happening after SGF?

Next week is annual report

For now only indies, xbox and outer worlds 2 announced after sgf

Don't quote me obviously... but nobody seems to really know what Sony/PlayStation is going to do. It tends to be before SGF just so you know. Some are saying Showcase... others are saying SOP (State of Play). We'll just have to wait for Sony to announce what they are going to do themselves.

I've said this in this area before... but if it's a Showcase the possibility of KH4 being there is technically there. If it's a SOP... yeah no sorry. At best you might get Missing Link.

When it comes to SGF... like I've also said on here before... FF9 Remake makes more sense. But that's just my personal speculation

Throwback to this 😔

This happened in 2023

Have they officially announced that they intend to remake FF9? I thought after all the FF7 remake business their intent was to do FFX-3 (even though fans were strongly against the idea) or an FFX remake due to how well every re-release of it had fared.

I feel like I should give more clarification. To what I said earlier. For anyone that cares I guess (likely nobody). There are two reasons why I think FF9 Remake makes the most logical sense for SGF. 1, Square clearly wants to portray that they've 'changed' (yes again) and only seems to want to market one 'huge' game per year as well as, what feels to me anyway, they don't want to put out more than one 'huge' game per year (because of their unrealistic expectations and what happened, according to them anyway, with the FF16 and FF7Rebirth situation) and 2, they want the perception that they announce things 'too early' to be gone. They've gotten better with this in many ways arguably. Except for this franchise (KH).

However... half the year is almost gone already. FF9 Remake for this year, although not impossible, seems extremely unlikely. Which means 2026. Which, by what I just said, would be their 'big' game for that year.

So... yeah...

But I could be wrong (and honestly hope I am). I wouldn't mind FF9 Remake and KH4 for 2026. Just seems very unlikely

if the master of masters name was cut, doesnt that mean they could have ended up changing who they wanted it to be?

:pikaponder:

Oh he K N O W S

Man I totally thought they would’ve given him like a placeholder name to say or just have him stop at “my name is” but no they told him the name

Or maybe they gave him a fake one that’d be even better

Domanda: (AI Overview)

Flop recenti e conseguenze finanziarie:

pretty sure they gave him a fake one on the off chance that he accidentally spilled the beans

Why do you think it would be FF9 that gets a remake? Is that just the one you'd want them to be remaking? Cause I asked if they've said anything about remaking that game because I've never heard anything about them wanting to remake that one. Like FF8 is unlikely, FF9 is in the realm of it'd be a miracle if they did it. Finally making FFX-3 regardless of the lack of demand for it or a remake of FFX are at least ideas that whispers have leaked out about.

Does he know the name?
I also think they probably gave him a fake one.
