He never confirmed that

I believe he has hinted it in one interview right after he also set the record straight that KH isn't meant to be a crossover franchise either.
But he also never didn't state how many there will be in 4 though, so that's the thing it might be less than expected he only stated there will be a good balance of them

That still doesn't confirm it. He's thinking about it, but doesn't have the full answer

Honestly, it’s possible that the developers are slowly trying to move Sora away from Disney characters and worlds and move him to FF Characters. It’s just a thought though.

Than again, every KH game involved Disney so it’s probably not😅

Sadly that day won't come, atleast not anytime soon. But I would like to believe one day people from both parties will just accept what Nomura decides to do with the series and whatever mood he is in and let him do what he wants naturally without it feeling like he's forced to satisfy either audience

I really don’t like the modern notion that developers have to always cater to fans. People don’t know what they want and KH1 proves that.

Right I just believe let him do what he feels like he wants, if there those who don't want FF characters in it but he puts it in anyways because he's the mood for it let him, it should be the same with those who want them in, but he doesn't feel like like putting them in oh well let him be it's his work. Let it come naturally to him, is that too much to ask

Now that KH has its own cast and characters, its not really "necessary" - though he understands fans would like to see them again

I'd have less of a problem with that if he didn't drop little tidbits ot hinted at plots and didn't resolve them. Where's Cloud and Seph, what happened to Zack, who wrote that letter Leon read (I know it's probably Riona shh) little things. They're not bit plot threads but they're things I've wanted follow ups to.

Yes, but that's the thing-

KH is about its main cast. Again, I think he only did it to draw attention to KH because at the time there weren't really any characters to round out the actual cast
