it can continue but it needs a soft reset imo. It's already something I hope for KH4

though it's usually really hard to make the old audience care for new stuff

if you guys want to feel old. Nomura is 52 new. If we get a KH game all 5-7 years we will get 3-5 mainline games at max until he probably retires

But my thing is, what would be the plot after Sora and co.?

I'm still not on board with KH continuing after the next saga because what else is there? What else? And if Sora isn't the new protagonist, what new character is gonna take my golden boy's place and become a significant character?

its expected for KH but I would love the twist

KH3 -> KH4 had the message that Sora has to live with the consequences of trying to save everyone. It would be very anticlimactic if he just comes back unless Nomura wants to write about Sora having to think about himself and not just about his friends.

I would honestly love the new saga being about toxic positivity and friendship being harmful
