I was relooking at the trailer, and I think the supposed AT-ST foot maybe is just a weird rock. If that was really a foot from an AT-ST, then wouldn't the copyright for Lucasfilms be in the copyright section at the end of the trailer?

They've had trailers in the past with placeholder icons, they either know what the input is or its just added in post kinda thing

not even a black circle like we usually see. those directly had no icon and that is clearly not made by postpo

The dev vids someone was but ima be real kh4 trailer is scripted just to show what the idea the player would be doing

KH3 trailers were entirely prerendered. KH4 is running in engine but it is still obviously scripted and had its UI slapped on
