nah there had to have been something else that we haven't seen yet or she was faking it the whole time. nobodies are still the same people just without hearts(with special exceptions like roxas ofc) so there's something we haven't seen about her yet that I'm sure they'll touch up on soon

i wouldn't say "like"

Something must have happened to her when she appeared close to Maleficent's castle at the end of UX. Maybe Maleficent brought her in and made her a slave (could be possible tbh) and traumatized Elrena

Or maybe Maleficent didn't take her in, maybe someone else made Elrena shut in her heart and feelings
