For a long time it felt like KH was getting very few new* fans- if anything I think the series has gotten *more since 3

Kh3 was and to be honest still is this mythical game that's never going to exist, come out. Like I genuinely still have a hard time believing I've played through it many times at this point

i started when CoM came out

at the time I didnt know kh1 was a thing

from my experience I can say it was nice to play CoM then go play 1 so you know what the hell is happening

I actually jumped from 1 to 2; as a kid I thought CoM was just a port of KH1 with extra bits skskksks

I was somehow lucky enough to be able to play the games in order. I remember the day my mom gave me Kingdom Hearts for my game boy.
I remember seeing the trailers on the TV.
The best experience I ever had with the series though I was just walking into a GameStop one day with my dad and seeing days just sitting there like wait
there's a new game?!?!??

i'll do ya one better: i started on 1, stopped halfway through, beat the final boss using my dad's profile, skipped com, then went to 2 and continued on from there mostly chronologically (by release date), and eventually got back to 1 to actually play through and beat it myself
