Man, the more I think about the combat and the more sad I get they didn't do more with the eikons

Like abilities are cool and all but the fact that your base combat doesn't change at all 50 hours in just feels like a waste when you are getting new eikons throughout it all

You use the same sword with the same combos through it all

Like I am not saying go full Dante in DMCV where you have bunch of weapons and four styles, but you can add something more to your base combos when you get a new eikon

Whether that's a good thing or not I guess is up to the individual

you can take the simplicity tho and make it more dmc

It just sucks that you have a character who is the only one who can use multiple eikons but that can never be shown through just his normal combos other than fire

so its all about the players ability to take advantage of it

I get what you mean tho I wish there were something of combo modifiers for his base but using the flame charges and enemy steps give it a change

I didn't use enemy step that much but flame charge I abused the hell out of

its really good

tho in ultimaniac you cant juggle enemies unless you garuda grab
