does anyone know if sora and riku will be in kh1 clothes or kh2 clothes?

Featured Replies

Well in the trailers they are in their KH1 clothes so I'm guessing it will probably stay that way unless Nomura is trying to skrew up out minds by changing it at the last second xD

I think he might be doing the same thing he did like theoriginal debute trailer for kh where donald and goofy come in there original clothes rather than their kh battle clothes. They haven't made there ebtire minds yet.

Nomura says they're in their KH1 forms for a reason. Hopefully this is the last time.

So what is the time frame is this game then in 3D?

i dunno but the Square-Enix Production Conference better have something on this tommorow.

After KH Coded.

3D is assumed to be after Re:coded and will be the Mark of Mastery test for Sora and Riku. From what I've heard, the KH1 Sora and Riku were just there to test out the 3DS' graphics, though it's not confirmed. Personally, I think they should do the KH2 clothes, since they're cooler, and I've had enough of KH1 clothes. Also, there's only one game that has the KH2 clothes, and 4 with the KH1 outfit.

Nomura said there's a reason why they are in they're KH1 outfits.

And it's possible that reason could be to test the 3DS' graphics.

If he wanted to test the 3DS' graphics I'm sure he would have said so from the beginning. Why would he say that in an interview that also mentioned the growth system as well?(couple more things I wanted to say but couldnt remember)

I think it will be KH1 clothes, as shown in trailers. maybe there's a good reason for a 5th game with them -.-'

Exactly, KH3D takes place after the events of Re:Coded. The exact reason they had Sora and Riku in their KH1 outfits was to show the graphics and the capabilities of the 3DS. They wanted to show how strong the 3DS is. So they will be in their KH2 outfits for KH3D.

@Kinode, the trailer was just to show the capabilities of the 3DS. Sora and Riku in their KH1 outfits aren't canon to the series at all really.

@Rob, what Azure Flame is saying is actually true. That was just to show the graphics of the 3DS and how strong the 3DS can handle those graphics. Nomura did confirm it in one of his interviews.

For a while i thought that too, but they actually are in their KH1 outfits for the game, and if u dont believe me then heres a Q and A statement from the Famitsu Weekly interview that talks about it:

Sora and Riku appear in their Kingdom Hearts I outfits, why is that?

Nomura: That

Well in the trailers they are in their KH1 clothes so I'm guessing it will probably stay that way unless Nomura is trying to skrew up out minds by changing it at the last second xD

Nomura said there is specific reason on why sora and riku are in there kh1 attire. He said its key to the story

Too bad that I would say in thier kh1 clothes

Yeah, Nomura said it himself - they will be in their KH attire in the game. However, my guess is that at the beginning of the game, they WILL have their KH2 attire, since it takes place after Kingdom Hearts II, but then when they take the Mark of Mastery Exam, they will be given back their original clothing. However, they should have the same facial features from KH2 (Sora: lighter brown hair, Riku: longer hair), though wearing their first game outfits. That would make sense.

DAMN IT NOMURA WHY YOU firetruck WITH HEAD!!!!

@zeno247naruto12: Makes people want buy the game and find out why.

I heard at one point that the Sora in 3D was not the one we know. Don't have good sources for this, so take it with a grain of salt.

I think its about cloths....Now i'm kinda lost to....LOL

What is confirmed is that its KH Attire. but ont he trialer it should KH2 Sora and Riku, So maybe Riku got a haircut, and they are in a "dream-Like" State. hence the KH Attire for their Mark of Mastery Test. I think.

I'm sticking with my idea of what we've seen so far is a dream. However, in the trailer it mentioned sleep and waking, so it's possible we could be playing in both their KH1 outfits, and KH2 outfits. Although KH1 outfits for the whole/most of the game is seeming likely now. :/

What if it is about awakening some sort of power? This could be a way for Sora and Riku to look inside them selves and see what's there.
