I prefer cutscenes in KH3D than "textscenes". It just makes it feel more like a main game with cutscenes than having text bubbles. But in my opinion, I hope KH3D gets balanced with both cutscenes and "textscenes" like with KH1 and KH2. It would definitely have it feel like a KH game to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the cutscenes but I just hope that the game won't have an awful lot of them like with BBS.

Voices or text...fully animated movements or stiff non-realistic movements...i don't think anyone would prefer the "Textscenes".

textscenes make me read which hurt brain. jk

but seriusely more cutscences

I prefer cutscenes. I honestly hate the textscenes, cuz then I have to read, which forces me to ger my glasses lol. But like KingdomHearts125 said, I good balance of them would be good in 3D, but for KHIII, I hope it's mostly cutscenes, seeing as they can fit more into the game.

Text scenes exist for two reasons:

Because of memory limitations

To save money on voice actors

The 3DS cartridges have 8 GB of memory, well beyond the space found in the original DS cartridges, which didn't even pass the 1 GB line, and over 4 times the size of a PSP UMD.

And if you will notice, BBS has very few text scenes, they only show up when you talk to an NPC on the map.

Most likely we'll see what we saw with BBS; fully voiced, with text for NPCs.

As Kingdom hearts 125 alot of cutscenes make it a boring thing same if it was textscenes

Cutscenes are better imo

I want cutscenes. textscenes are just lazy.

Frankly, I want BBS style. I want cutscenes. I want MANY cutscenes! I want cutscenes in worlds, and to hear the voices of the Disney characters! I want there to be cutscenes even where there doesn't need to be cutscenes! I want FULL 3D model with the lips moving, and the voices coming out, capiche?! And I want CG opening and closing cutscenes for the game, or else Square will feel my wrath!!!

... What? Don't pretend you don't want that inside.

It doesn't matter to me. Oh yeah, you should have put this as an option on the poll, now I can't vote.

So long as the text scenes appear in a theater mode like they did with re:CoM, I won't mind too much.

The thing I really hate about text scenes is that its hard to remember where they take place and what exactly is said if I'm trying to find something specific - and almost no one has YouTube videos of text scenes with normal cutscenes, unless it also includes gameplay. I don't want to skim through gameplay and get to the point where the text scene is and *hope* the person doesn't just quickly press through it. I don't always have save points at convenient locations to just go hunt for details that are off the beaten track. (It's why a lot of 358/2 Days is lost on me, because I've seen the scenes dozens of times on YouTube, but the text scenes only -once-.)

tutti frutti. I prefer cutscenes better. Mostly because in days, when you view the cutscenes, you kind of get that feeling like you're missing a lot without the textscenes. Plus it just feels lazy to me. I can understand wanting to save money, but you kind of sacrifice the quality of the game today. It would be like for FFversusXIII, if it was full of textscenes over cutscene I would be disappointed, though I'm sure a number of others that come on this site who are FF fans, doubt there are any who come here who aren't, would be disappointed as well.

Ugh I know! Days was so annoying with the lack of cutscenes! And some of the things there just didn't really need to be cutscenes.

Cutscenes show more emotion and give depth to the speech and text doesn't always convey the message being sent and it skips out on tone.

Honestly, I don't see why any one would want more textscenes than cutscenes, I can stand it if there are textscenes, in fact, I would rather have high quality cutscenes (In the sense that the bodies and faces of the characters are always animated and don't get that cruddy look every once and a while) and then have text scenes during areas of the game that aren't super important.

xD LOL!!!!

Cutscenes would be much better than textscenes, it has a lot more feeling to it

sorry about that.

i didnt think third opinion when i was doing this

Also, ideally I'd want high quality CGI cutscenes, like they have in a lot of Final Fantasy games.
