If you're referring to Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka, they all returned to DI. Also, they wouldn't be helping the enemy of their friend.

tutti frutti. I'm pretty sure that Braig/Xigbar would be an accomplice of Xehanort. Mostly since not many people would be willing to get a serious injury, let alone lose an eye, in order to help someone. Though it does make me wonder why someone would be willing help someone after going through all that, but maybe we will find out why. I could see the sombody's of the remaing members of org. XIII willing to help Xehanort, though kind of unlikely. But mostly likely somebody else that he is willing to use in order to further his ambitions for Kingdom Hearts, the X-Blade, and the Keyblade War.

Maybe number XV. The organization created Xion and Nomura said that he had intended to make more of that series. It is possible for Vexen to have taken data from every single person within the organization and their weapons to help create MF.

Agreed that it could be Somebodies of Org XIII and/or MF. Vanitas in some form or another would be cool. We also have several Disney characters that are like Maleficent, power hungry warriors and mages that would jump at the chance to get their paws on Kingdom Hearts (examples, the 2 sorcerers from the 2 Swan Princess movies).

 

A point to remember is the help might not be an underling. Particularly in MF's case, I would more think of it as a partnership.

I think I read somewhere that Nomura said that MF is a new character, so most likely he is NOT Xemnas.

MF is not Xemnas. He may look similar to the Organization because he wears the cloak, but that doesn't mean he is one of them. The only way he could be a member, is if he travelled back in time.

I never heard this before but knowing Xehanort, he'll probally get a group of Coharts to help him out in KH3D and KH3 just like he did in all the other games.

tutti frutti. Just because the MF wears a black cloak doesn't necessarily mean that he is in the Org. Riku and Mickey(though his difference is his special ear made hood) both wore the signature cloaks, but were out to help stop the Org. Plus Ansem the Wise wears the same attire in the secret ending of BBS in the RoD, though he strongly hated the Org, namely Xehanort/Xemnas due to taking his life's work away from him. I have a couple guess, outside of new enemies/villains, that could be helping MX/Xehanort:

1. the somebodies of the org, excluding Roxas and Xion

2. Braig/Xigbar (more so due to the events of BBS)

3. Maleficent (in some way I can see her being used in a worse extent than Braig)

4. Vanitas (Same as Braig, though I'd like to see how he returns)

5. A new group of enemies, similar to the Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed

6. Mysterious Figure (dude is enigmatic)

7. Heartless, Nobodies and/or Unversed (I can see Nomura throwing a loop for the Unversed to return)

 

These are my main ideas as to who would be helping MX/Xehanort, that may not be a new character other than #5. It's definitly something to look forward to seeing, but I am anxious for a release date for KH3D. But this is definitely something that Nomura likes to have us waiting on the edge of our sets for more info, if not the game itself.

A good question, indeed. But a question that has no answer yet. Well...no answer known to the public.

It's also possible that this could be a character never introduced in the KH universe before. Personally, I'm hoping for a female antagonist. We've only had Larxene so far and she got only a little lime light before they killed her off.
