How did Ienzo age so much in one year? In BBS, he looks to be about Sora's age but in COM, he looks like he is a full fledged adult? How is this possible if Radiant Garden fell in only one year?

Ienzo was about 8 years old. He aged a year then became a nobody. His nobody aged, if that wasn't obvious lol. Same with Saix and Axel. Everyone in the Organization was over 20 years old except for Zexion.

I don't even think Zexion looks like an adult. More like 15-19 at the very most.

Ienzo was about 8 or 9 like Rob said and he was right in saying that all of the Nobodies seemed to have aged. It's been 10 years, so if Ienzo was 8 he is now about 18 or so.

This just proves what we previously believed is wrong. We once thought nobodies didn't age. Now it appears they do.

 

I just remembered a cosplay skit with Zexion ranting about not aging! "I've been a 16 year old Nobody for nine years! I'm trapped in puberty, and I'm jail bait! You're going to grow up! I'm not! I've got nothing to live for!"

Namine obviously aged from RE:COM to Kingdom Hearts 2. I guess that could be made to the arguement of whether or not she has a heart...but it seems that Zexion must have aged. I think that still having a soul and body, they would still have everything necessary to keep aging. Ven would be an exception because his heart was shattered the way it was, or it may have kept with the same age as Sora because of their connection. Although, we haven't really gotten confirmation on whether Ven has aged or not, have we?

Or, another theory: Ienzo/Zexion didn't become a heartless and produce a nobody immediately. Hollow Bastion may have fell a year later, but that doesn't mean they all became heartless then.

Also, I also need to point out that he seems younger than the other members, but a few years older than Sora and Riku.

Yeah, they were a couple inches taller than him, but were not the same height as Axel and Saix. Yes, I know Ven won't grow without his heart(as I've posted many times in other threads related to why Ven won't grow). I'm saying it's not confirmed yet and we'll find out in KH3.

And you could always use deductive reasoning to try to figure something out. Maybe ienzo's age is a illusion; maybe lea and isa survived the attack on radiant garden and became nobodies later.

I see that this "deductive" reasoning you speak of could answer a lot of questions but then lead to more questions. Ienzo's age an illusion? I doubt it. Also, I'm pretty sure that Zexion is way older then Sora and Riku.

It's like my mom says: "Maybe it's one of those things that you just don't think about". Kind of like the fact that somehow Pierce Brosnan, Roger Moore and Sean Connery are all James Bond.

Yeah, that makes sense, since when there are people in the world, and then when the world is taken over, people escape(Leon and friends), turn into summons, or lose their hearts(Lea and Isa). Also would like to add test subjects, but that was before what I mentioned happened.

Heh I just thought of this, the real reason Ven wouldn't age is because he has no nobody; you can't have a nobody without your body filling with darkness (becoming a heartless), and Ven kind of destroyed his darkness, so yeah. So far, nobodies have all seemed to age. When was it said that they don't?

Honestly, I thought Ienzo looked about seven-ish and Zexion looked about 17-ish. I think the apprentices became Heartless then Nobodies about a year after BbS, but Ienzo still wasn't yet. Then a while after that was when he became a Nobody. He was only a little kid after all, so the others probably either wanted him to be a bit older first, or he simply didn't have enough darkness in his heart yet. That's my theory if it's true that Nobodies don't age.

 

If they DO age, then, well....that sort of answers itself.

 

Well, all will be answered when we see an unaged Ven in future games. That'll show that without a heart you can't age (which you all probably already know). Unless you want to be more complex, then it'll show that you need a Nobody to age, or the Nobody will age for you, but personally I think that's sort of over-analyzing and far-fetched.

I'm pretty sure Nobodies age. These following members are proof.

 

Lea looked about 15, making him about 16 when he became Axel. 10 years later, he looks about 25.

Isa was about the same

Ienzo looked about 8, so he was about 9 when he turned into a nobody. When he is next seen, he looks about 18.

Namine also appears to age. If you look at her, she looks about 14 in Re:Com. Then in KH2, she looks about 15. Her features aren't as childish anymore.

Zexion's Age. Why are we worrying about this? I'm sure Nomura will confirm it in a interview.
