Continuing with the trend, we're regularly updating our news for you guys, so that you get enough of Kingdom Hearts. Rather than list the upgrades we've been doing on the new site, which have mostly been behind-the-scenes (yet still very exciting. Stay tuned!), we'll instead have a question today. Who is your favourite Kingdom Hearts character?

 

It's no doubt that characters play a large role in the success of Kingdom Hearts. It seems that every fan will have some characters they love, and some they hate. So this is why we're asking you, who is your favourite character? Simply leave a comment below explaining who it is, and why. The best responses will be chosen and featured, so have fun!

Myself, obviously. I was so awesome that I was only allowed to have 1 line. If I said anymore then the disc would of exploded with awesomeness.

Riku, he overcame the darkness in his own heart and proceeded it to use it as his own weapon. He also is able to hold is own by himself and is good but not overly so like Sora and Aqua. Riku is good but he is never too good as to be foolish. Also, he is always there when his friends need him and is willing to give up anything for them, remember him giving up his body in Kh2/ 358/2 days.

Roxas, he doesn't have any stereotypical traits really except angst teenager but he slowly looses that.

 

Plus he has the most interesting story in my opinion and has the most speculation around him, the most recent being whether or not he is actually Ventus.

Sora, hands down. Sora has always been a lovable character that is willing to sacrifice it all for his friends and has never wavered in his journey. He's always been the light of hope in the Darkness and the character I've always felt closest to.

My favorite villain would have to be Vanitas. He's great at taunting his enemies to get them to fight at their full strength. And like baylaust said, his theme music is one of the best ones. Of course, I like his Sentiment's theme better.

 

My favorite protagonist is a tie between Ventus and Sora. They both have similar personalities and try whatever they can to help those in need. They're generally really optimistic and happy-go-lucky but certain events cause them to lose their composure. Also the whole "Friends are my power" is a really good philosophy.

Roxas. He seems to be the most relatable character to me despite being a nobody. All he wanted was to have friends and a purpose beyond gathering hundreds of hearts for the Organization. Roxas always tries his best to protect the people he cares about. This must make it all the more frustrating to have to kill one of them, leave another behind so he could do what he thought was right, and realize the world where he was was false and so were the friends he thought he knew there.

tutti frutti. It's hard for be to just choose one, though for me it would depend. Villain-wise mine is Vanitas, followed by MX, and lastly Xigbar. Hero-wise, I would choose Mickey since he is like the Yoda of the series, followed by Riku, lastly Ventus. The more neutral characters for me are Axel, Roxas and Eraqus since they seem like they can go on either side.

ISNT IT OBVIOUS MY NAME SAYS IT ALL well i think that i like DEMYX because we are quite similar (weir i know but still cool) because he be bipolar (two personalities) were as i am tripolar (three personalities) also i like him CAUSE HES SO FREAKIN CUTE

Normally, my favorite character is Xion. Yeah yeah, hate on me.

Xion is a puppet with no past, who unintentionally absorbs memories of Kairi and Sora, gaining her face. After learning that she wielded the Keyblade, Roxas became friends with her, witch she obviously enjoyed. But she hadn t any idea of what would happen to her if she stayed near Roxas.

Soon, Axel came back, and became friends with Xion as well. she starts hurting, trying to find about her past which she has not. Axel saw her as Naminé.

Sure, that's stuff everyone already knows. Near the end of the game, she has to make a decision. Either return to Sora, or destroy Roxas and keep living.

Normal people, selfish and dark, would even give up their friends for their own lives. But Xion was loyal, she did what she could and did the right thing. She returned to Sora, chose to be forgotten as if never existed. Chose to give her own live to make Roxas Happy, to help Sora wake up and to let Roxas return to him.

She stays strong and faces Axel many times, not letting friendship get in the way but hurting inside.

Things that make XIon my favorite character:

-When you get attached to a character, when you feel their pain, you know that character is awesome.

-She's a girl

-She made ROXAS cry.

-She aways makes the right choices.

-She realizes right and wrong.

After you watch the sunset and eat icecream with her, having conversations for over 80 times, you feel like she's your real friend.Then you have to kill her, having no other choice. Axel also touched me(take this sentence as you wish), but it's not like he died on he same game.

Also, I don't hate any characters. Hell, even Kairi gets kinda cool fighting with a Keyblade

Yeah that's prety much it.

I really liked Larxene. lol

I know she is a bitch, but she is so bad ass!

i have to say Sora because when everything is all messed up he is still up and positive

A Keyblade Master and she's hot! What more do you want?

She is also quite 'sexy', heroic, strong, graceful, beautiful, and more.

 

She basically takes it upon herself to save Ventus and Terra. Even though she knows she could be defeated and possibly die.

 

She saved Terra and in turn made herself stay in the Realm of Darkness, a place full of darkness and no one except for Heartless.

 

She is just a fantastic character!

I Would say Terra Or Ventus

My favorite characters -can't pick one- are Riku and Terra.

If you have read almost any of my posts, you'd know my absolute FAVORITE is Riku! I even call him Ri-kun!

My favoritte character is Xion. Even though some may hate her, the reasons why a like her are:

 

-Xion acts a lot like me. She's a confused person in the world trying to fit in/on it.

-She is an underrated character, but with a beautiful story that could be expanded in future installments of the series.

-She never gives up, even when everyone dismisses her

-Her character represents all those people that are critized for not being "normal"

-Her character also represents the pride/arrogance of the human being to be like a god (creating things, etc.)

-She taught me a lesson (or even two),

---even when the result won't be good for you, your action have to be made

---No matter if you are a puppet of someone,the important is to take action

and most important of all:

---The sacrifice is the maximun expression of love, even if it doesn't mean to die. (you can sacrifice money, time, etc..)

 

These are the main reason what I like her and make me feel even to love her persona.

REASONS WHY:

 

-He uses 2 of my favorite and best keyblades in the game

-He Defeated Riku

-Has one of the best themes in the game

-Suffered alot by losing his Two best friends

-Had the guts to take on the whole organization

-BEST battle in kh2 final mix (in my opinion)

-His element is the power of light

-Would have defeated Sora if he knew sora could get his keyblade like that

Sora all the way, gotta admire a guy like him

Riku and Terra... they both r amazing and have sad stories... eh its more terra tha has the sad story but rikus is kinda sad too. anyways... RIKU AND TERRA R AMAZING!!!!

My favorite character in Kingdom Hearts is definately Namine

 

Even though she isn't a fighter, she has shown how useful...or hurtful she can be

Like everyone she makes her own mistakes, but she learns from them almost right away, and does everything in her power to try and fix it, in a way that's beneficial to everyone

 

She doesn't see anyone as good, or anyone as evil

She sees everyone as equals, when it comes to basic morals

 

She hardly ever is selfish, and the one time she was it was because of loneliness

Everything she did after that was selfless

She doesn't think about what would happen to her, or if she would have to go back to being alone for the rest of her "non-existant" life

 

And that's why I like Namine the best

My favorite character would have to be a tie between Terra and Roxas

 

Reasons for Terra:

 

-Strong

-Lone ranger type character

-cares for people to the point where he will do anything to keep them safe.

 

Reasons for Roxas:

 

-He has 2 keyblades

-He cares for his close friends

-When ticked off he kicks butt

(examples being when xion died, when Ansem the wise tried to pushed him into rejoining sora, having to leave all his friends behind)
