This only applies to the two main KH games, pick according to what you feel is the best overall game (voice acting, gameplay, storyline, etc.) and feel free to say why below.

 

 

 

In my opinion the first game was the best of the two. The outfit and level designs were more appealing to the eye, the voice acting was a lot better as far as the FF characters go and you weren't constantly shoved into a closed off area to "Defeat all of the strange enemies!".

KH2

um kingdom hearts 2 for shure!! It was more exciting and it had better graphics and battle system!

KH2. The only thing KH1 has over KH2 is harder gameplay(no triangle to win lol).

It got a better story, better world designs, better music, was actually difficult and was overall just more enjoyable.

Gotta say KH.... I love both but I kinda liked the more tactical battle system... KH II's battle system was awesoeme but a bit too flustered. Most of the time you didn't give a shit about tactics you just mashed a 1000000000 combo. And after seeing some parts of DDD I say it is even more over the top. I don't know if I will like DDD's battle system. You just dash, turn, jump and stomp all over the map.

Kingdom Hearts II. Bigger badder enimes, more violence , and epicness.

I'm going to say KH2 only because I never knew how to beat the Tarzan level in KH when I was younger and even though I came back to it and figured out how stupid I'd been(oh so stupid), I played through. But I liked KH2's gameplay more, I found it more refined and easy to play. Kh had great gameplay but it's only natural for KH2 to have it better.

....... I guess KHII but only slightly. I love the story in both of them. I think the script was better in KHII as it gave more character to it, though I can understand why some people found this annoying. I liked the first KH's story even more because that's where everything began. Both systems had their merits and flaws. KH suffered from an awkward camera and I don't know about anyone else, but Donald and Goofy kept pushing off of cliffs KHII battle system was probably improved too much and made the battles less about tactic. I could go on an on even more, but KHII won it for me because... the Final Mix+ had a lot more extra content than the first game's Final Mix

 

Otherwise, BBS ftw

KHII. It had the best voice acting, and it only wins because of Jesse McCartney. I think he's even better than Haley. Also, the game-play was better.

Kingdom Hearts II. My reasons?

 

1. The graphics were super pretty.

2. The outfits of the three main characters.

3. And the voice talent. It was amazing.

 

Those are my reasons, no matter how flimsy they are.

Kingdom Hearts I looked much more realistic than Kingdom Hearts II and it also didn't have a lot of emo scenes with Sora being a wuss. In many ways KH1 is better than KH2 but overall, KH2 is better.

I prefer the 1st game as it was the only game (besides kh2fm) that featured limits for sora

The first game had a better story, with much better pacing. I found the characters to all be less annoying in KH compared to KHII, especially Kairi, whom I liked in the first game but hated in the second. KHII has better gameplay, but is marginally easier. It also looks better than KH, and some of the worlds were better than KH's worlds.

 

To be honest, I like them both, but I would have to say I like KH better than KHII, if only because of story and it presenting a challenge throughout the game, not just with certain enemies and bosses.

I wish Kairi would've kept her hair short ..
