Hello guys. I've sent this first part of the story to some members here, and they liked it a lot. So, I thought it'd be better to share it with everyone. Hope you like it

 

 

 

A Frightful Prevision

 

At a night, of May 29th of the year 2049, to be exact, something strange happened. But, before discovering what occurred, it’s better to know what had been happening in some time before that day. In the next lines, you will be able to read and put your imagination to work -- or at least give it a try -- in order to understand everything that this story has to tell.

 

-> March 11th <-

 

Today was an excellent day. Why? Because I got a promotion, and the rumors of some kind of “threat” coming to earth have been almost completely destroyed.. But, there are still some people who believe that we may be in risk of facing the last days of our lives -- of the humanity.

 

There were already many people who predicted a lot of things like that, but in the end, we are still here and alive, after all. Yet again, it’s still too early to say that this prediction is completely impossible to happen... Even I, who was instructed to calm the people, and tell them not to panic, still have doubts if this is really only a false rumor, or if it’ll really happen... But I pray that it doesn’t happen.

 

However, you might be interested in knowing what that prevision has to say.. But I think it’s still to early for me to tell it.. After all, what IS supposed to happen is only in some months, so I’ll tell about it in the near future. At least I managed to accomplish my duty; the people seems to be more calm now. We just need to carry on with our normal lives, that’s it. No need to worry.

It has already passed some days since I last wrote in this diary. I can’t believe I am really enjoying this -- although it was an idea of my own daughter. But, returning to the main subject, there are more and more people supporting that prediction.. My duty has become very hard, even though people do respect me. When I’m not around, many of them begin to talk about it. I have been busy during this time I was off.. Me and the other politics -- we need to make sure that the people are not attracted by that idea -- but what if, we ourselves are?

 

I am not saying I believe in it, but I can’t tell the contrary as well.. Something just tells me this is not really wrong at all. But, who knows? It might be only my imagination. Maybe I’m just getting old. With almost fifty years, it’s hard to face what I face everyday. Well, let’s stop talking about my personal life... My main goal with this is to find out more about the rumors...

 

So, as I’ve said before, many people continue to fight for these ideas... And look, we haven’t fought since 1927... And, with our own people.. Where will this world end? Can’t people have different opinions without respecting the others? Maybe this is really the end of this race -- which was once a pure and good race, in which people treated the others well, and not only worried about their interests, the money -- its name? Humanity.

 

But, if we think properly, this wouldn’t be a bad end at all.. You might be calling me a crazy or something like that, but see: We’ve killed thousands of animals, and don’t come with the argument: “we need to eat”, because in those thousands, many were only killed because men have their own interests.. They want to make new things, and don’t care with what or who they have to cross down to achieve their goals. With time, the humans have been more and more selfish.

 

I remember.. In thirty years ago, we weren’t so bad as we are today. We had water, but what have we done with it? We spent it without caring about the consequences.. And who is going to pay for that? We. It can be sooner or later, but we will end paying for what we’ve done. Nowadays, it’s very rare to find the old and good water. With the new technology, and since we don’t have the food we used to, we have to eat some strange things made by these scientists.. But I can’t badmouth them, can I? Because, if it weren’t for them, we might have met our end sooner.. In 2040, 91.56% of the entire rain forests of the world were completely destroyed, and with it, many species of animals, our natural resources... But I ask: Is this really good enough? We have to get rid of the forests to get more technology? Really?

 

My answer to this question is this : No, we shouldn’t have done that. But who am I to say this to the entire humanity? I would end up being killed by the owners of the factories and others.. But, while our great technology doesn’t build a Time Machine, we have to hang on. Do you know how we live today? Thanks to the Factories and their gases that have destroyed our Ozone Layer, we were forced to build new houses.. Ones with Oxygen. Why? Because it’s very rare to find some nowadays. The rays of the sun have turned the temperature to 58.5Cº, which makes it almost impossible to hold on that temperature for more than twenty minutes.

 

Ahhh.. If only I could go back to 2012 or 2014, when our world was so amazingly good to live.. But I can’t blame it, because it was our fault -- we were the ones who didn’t listen to what was right in front of us -- The terrible future we were creating. Those amazing campaigns for the reforestation.. Nowadays, it doesn’t exist anymore. The Humanity is too busy to think about protecting the less than 10% we still have.

 

Oh.. It’s late. 11:59p.m. I need to go sleep now. Might come back and write more in this diary in a week or so. Who knows? Maybe more and more people will continue to support that prevision. Bye for now.

 

->April 12th <-

 

I guess I haven’t had much time to write here. More than one week, eh? But don’t worry, I have a good reason for that. Nowadays, our population is around 5,000,000,000 of people. Why am I informing this, you ask? Because between this incredibly big number, 1,000,000,000 of people have just began to support the prevision! My duty has become more and more difficult with time. So, I have to spend most of the time doing it. I’m getting tired of it.

 

Besides that, do you know what’s the worst? The day of the prevision is coming. It’s in a bit more than one month. As time passes, I’m getting more and more frightened. I know nothing will happen, but still... What if this time, the prevision is right? Well, you might be curious to know what the prevision says. However, I’m afraid I don’t have a proper definition , since it’s strange, because there are subgroups. Some say that it foresees the end of the World, others say that it’s the end of our Planet, that the world is going to be rebuilt, that some other species are going to invade the Earth... That’s why it’s so hard to block its advance, since it has many currents.

 

Although the politicians don’t seem to believe in that, I’ve been told that they’re making some new vehicles, which are capable of flying without oil, and that can use its lasers to destroy anything. What they do not know is that, even I am building a new escape route, for myself and my family. But I can’t talk about it now. However, I am praying that I don’t need to eventually use it in the future.

 

Wait! What? My friends -- the other politics responsible for maintaining the peace between the people -- have just warned me that the leader of the prevision has been spotted! I’m sorry, but I need to go right now. If we kill him, we may have a chance to stop the rumors right from the source! I’ll try to report the results of the battle as soon as possible. OMGoth! The whole story was wonderful and great! But the ending was such a moving piece of work! Zarcy and Omeyn's love was so moving and binding! :') And the music effects were a nice touch. I loved the whole story it was so moving. You should try and get this publish. Oh, and now that you have fans, COULD I BE YOUR NUMBER 1 FAN?!?!? I loved the story it was great...well great would be an understatment . It was very beauitful and touching. You're a great writer.

Final Battle

Part 3

 

Now, that both Generals had been killed, the numbers of Generals still left alive was once again, the same. There were two helping Drak; Phappy and Eirwd, and these two against him; Das and Tligh. It appeared to be a miracle, because no one could have foreseen that Drak would be alive until this part. His condition before the war was really terrible.

 

Das and Eirwd were already battling for some time now, and their troops were reduced to a very small number. Their hatred would not allow neither of them to back down and retreat. This was the only chance they had to prove that one was better than the other. And, surely, neither would just waste it.

 

“Ready to die, ugly?,” Eirwd said.

“Only if you’re willing to go to the hell with me!”, she replied.

 

One of Das’ soldiers was able to tell her brother, Tligh, that she was in a very dangerous situation. He began to hurry to save his sister.

 

Meanwhile, Thinog, Drak’s Main General, had entered in his master room, and began to have a conversation with him.

 

“Master, do you believe we can win?”, he asked.

“Yes, my pupil. But only fate can tell for sure....”, he replied.

“If you die, then I’ll take command, right?,” Thinog asked.

“Yes, I’ve already named you as my successor a long time ago.” he replied.

“Ok. I’m going to keep patrolling the palace.”

 

Some time later, he found Phappy, his best friend. Phappy was too happy for a person who was in a war, and there was something very suspicious happening between them. No one could tell what Drak’s true destiny really was.

 

Tligh finally managed to arrive in the location of his sister. But she asked him not to interfere -- that battle was hers, and hers alone. If she were to win, she would win alone.

“But, sis....” he said.

“Be quiet! I want to take this idiot by myself. I won’t need your help. Don’t worry!,” she replied.

“Oh, the big bro has come to save the little girl? How delightful. Maybe I can put an end to your entire family after finishing the weakest, you!,” Eirwd said.

“Don’t put your big noise in where you ARE NOT called,” she replied.

“Oh, I’m sorry if you’ve got your little feelings hurt. Oh yes -- I forgot -- Ugly creatures actually DO NOT have feelings, right?,” he said.

“I don’t want to hear any other words from your mouth. Let’s fight until one of us is killed,” she replied.

“Okay... You want one-on-one? So tell your big bro not to do any tricks to help you... Make him swear!”, he said.

“Bro, please... Swear you’re not going to interfere in our battle”, she said.

“Ok, I promise... But be careful!”, he replied.

 

And so, Tligh walked to get some distance from the fighters, and watch it from a safe point. A battle for supremacy between the two of them had just started. No one knew how many minutes, or even hours, would that battle last. Only one thing was sure; no one was willing to give up and let the other take the upper hand.

 

Meanwhile, a soldier heard part of the conversation between Thinog and Phappy.

“Isn’t it the right time already? That old man needs to say goodbye to this world soon...”, Phappy said.

“Not yet... We need to wait a bit more... Until he is completely alone... There is still some soldiers around the palace.” Thinog replied.

“But, is it going to be tonight?,” Phappy asked.

“Yes, that’s for sure. That man’s life ends today. Even with soldiers -- I’ll not retreat. If we succeed, fame, fortune and everything will be ours... Drak... He is such a fool to believe so much on me...” Thinog replied.

“Hahahahahahaa! And we were so smart to formulate this plan... Once the old man goes to the other dimension, you will be the leader, and I... will be the Main General!”, Phappy said.

“Yes... With Poeh dead, and Eirwd fighting to the death with Das, we will not have much to worry about... And, once we are in charge, we will end this war... Drak’s Religion will be completely destroyed... and erased from history! No one will remember that he has ever existed! Hahaahaha! Our ambition will become reality, my friend. It’s just a matter of time!”, Thinog replied.

 

The soldier was not sure of what he should do, and so he invaded Drak’s room. He told everything to him, but much to his surprise, Drak just replied “Thank you. I need to be alone for some time. What’s your name?”. And the soldier said his name. It was Sutr. “Very well Sutr. I need to rest... My life ends tonight...”. “But sir, aren’t you going to do anything?”, the soldier asked. “You will see. Farewell, and thank you.”, Drak said.

Final Battle

Part 4

 

 

Drak ordered a soldier to go and tell Eirwd that he wanted to him to come to the palace as quick as possible. While he did not arrive, Drak stood writing two letters. The first one should be sent to the enemy, once the battle was over, and the second, should be kept by Eirwd until he thought it was the right time to read it.

 

Eirwd was fighting Das when the soldier came. Eirwd said “Sorry, ugly, but I need to go.”, and left the battlefield with his 250 soldiers. Das stood furious, but Tligh instructed her not to go after him. He thought that maybe it could be a trap.

When he arrived, Drak told him everything.

 

“Hello, my dear friend.”, Drak said.

“What do you want, master? Why did you want me to come here so quickly?,” he said.

“We have been fooled by Thinog and Phappy. They are planning on killing me, and ending my religion.” Drak said.

“But... Are they crazy? We’ve fought so hard to get here... and they want to ruin everything? I will kill them! You just need to say the word, master!” he said.

“No... You won’t do that... at least not now... I have formulated a plan.. and I would appreciate if you could hear, and tell me your opinion about it” Drak said.

“Ok, I’ll hear it all”, Eirwd said.

 

After an hour of conversation, Eirwd finally agreed on following Drak’s plan. It all seemed very sad and bad for him, but Drak managed to make him notice that it was the only way. Drak also gave him the two letters.

At the night, when Thinog and Phappy came to kill Drak, they had a great surprise. Drak was dead. He had been killed by someone. His room was without any lights, and so Eirwd turned the lights on. He was with a strange smile, and he seemed to be acting strangely. He was also carrying a knife, which had some blood in it.

 

“What is wrong, guys?” Eirwd said.

“You... killed Drak?” Thinog asked.

“Yes, and I’d like to know if you two want to join forces with me. I want to put an end to this battle.” Eirwd said.

“Of course. We wanted that as well!” Phappy said.

“I think we can do that.” Thinog said. He wanted to pretend he did not want that, but rather that he was being forced to accept.

“That’s great. We need to go to the first floor, and there plan how we will simply say -We give up” Eirwd said.

“Yes, you are absolutely correct!” Phappy said.

“That seems a good idea for me.” Thinog said.

 

But that was all a trap planned by Drak. Even though he was dead now, he would still interfere in the lives of many people.

 

The first floor of the palace was just like Drak’s room -- without any lights. Thinog and Phappy were the first ones to arrive in there, while Eirwd stood watching everything from the second floor.

 

“Eirwd? Where are you?” Thinog asked.

“Yes, where are you man?” Phappy asked.

“I am here.” Eirwd replied from the second floor.

“Where? Your voice seems to be so far away...” Thinog replied.

“Is this a joke or what?” Phappy asked.

“For you, it may well be.” Eirwd replied.

“Aren’t we going to plan how to give up?” Thinog asked.

“Hahahahahaha! It’s just too funny to watch!” Eirwd replied.

“To watch what? Are you feeling well?” Phappy asked.

“It’s so cool. It’s just as Drak said. I wonder if he had already foreseen this.” Eirwd said.

“What? I will get you Eirwd!” Thinog said.

“Not so fast, my dear.” Eirwd replied.

 

And, much to both Phappy and Thinog’s surpise, 250 soldiers came out and attacked them. They used some arrows, which were with fire, and some other soldiers tied them.

 

Eirwd finally went to the first floor, and turned the lights on. He looked at the two Generals, and began to laugh. He was also very happy, because he managed to do exactly what his master ordered him to, just before dying.

 

Now, he decided to have a small conversation with the prisoners, before killing them, and making Drak’s wishes turn into reality.

 

“Why did you two rebel against our master?” Eirwd asked.

“He was just a fool... I never really liked him... And you’re the biggest idiot if you really liked him..” Phappy replied.

“Kill this one. I want his mouth to be closed permanently.” Eirwd ordered.

 

And so Phappy was killed. Eirwd simply could not stand that monster. He seemed to not have a heart, nor feelings. He only cared about himself. Only Thinog remained.

 

“And you?” Eirwd asked.

“I.... I was convinced by Phappy... He told me about his plans to kill Drak... and forced me to cooperate with him.” Thinog said.

“You are lying. Drak told me a lot about you. You are the falsest person I have ever met.” Eirwd said.

“I’m sorry... I did not want to... but I did not have a choice.....” Thinog lied again.

“Stop lying. Drak told me you were the one who was going to kill him in the first place.” Eirwd said.

“Yes... I wanted to get money, fame, and a big place in history. But I’ve lost everything... You can kill me now.” Thinog said. It was the first time he said the truth.

“You are wrong. You will get a place in history... You are the traitor... the one who tried to ruin Drak’s religion, but failed.” Eirwd said.

“And you will get the place of the coward, who was not even able to fight the traitors by himself alone...” Thinog said.

“Maybe. Who knows? I only know one thing. Your fate is death. Kill him with no mercy.” Eirwd said.

“Noo... we can do great things together -- In the middle of his false speech, he was killed.

 

Then, the soldiers began to wonder what they would do now. Drak had already planned that with Eirwd a while ago.

 

“We are going to give up. But with a condition. That our Religion keeps existing.” Eirwd said.

 

The soldiers were happy. Suddenly, an earthquake began, in a place near the palace, and Eirwd ordered everyone to abandon it and go to the nearest city.
