I was reading my Kingdom Hearts 1 guide while I played the game and I notice something was wrong about Simba. The info of Simba was incorrect in the form that it says that Simba was "ruler of the Pride Lands until the world was sallowed by the darkness". In Kingdom Hearts 2, however, He wasn't king until the end of the first visit. So to make things shorter, In Kingdom Hearts 1 he was already king and in Kingdom Hearts 2 he wasn't king until the end of the 1st visit.

Well, if the world fell to darkness immediately after Mufasa died it could work... maybe...

Maybe it's that when Mufasa died, he was considered ruler or king, but he really wasn't. Then when Sora restored his world, he wasn't just considered king or ruler. So maybe it's not an error.

But, Simba ran off because of Scar at that time. Which would mean that KH1 info would be wrong.

Unless the KH version isn't exactly the same.

Or, you know, the darkness did it.

He already was king, then ran away like a lil' *something*, making him unfit to be a king. But he still was one.

I agree with Earth right now it makes sense

History can change.

lets just put this in the Kingdom hearts "X-files", and be done with it.

I vote no. There are no X-files.

Anyway, when he ran off away from Scar, everyone wanted him to be king. When Scar died, everyone did their best to forget about Scar, and pretended Simba was King the whole time.

Well you have to remember, Kingdom Hearts I came out before the plot of Kingdom Hearts II came out, and considering the fact that he was just a summon, I don't think they'd put much effort in making a journal entry for him. Also this isn't an error, I came here expecting a glitch or bug.

They didn't plan on making other games in the series in the first place so it couldn't possibly be an error.

Yes I agree with that.

Yeah, so there was a space that Scar was King. Then the world fell to darkness.

Everybody did not want Scar to be King because they favored Simba, considering he was their kind ruler's child.

They decided, most likely, to blot out to past and believe he was King during Scar's tyrannical reign and when the world fell.

But, these are what-if scenarios, but these are the most likely to have happened.

Long story short: The author screwed up.

Long story short: The author screwed up.

How did the author screw up?

How did the author screw up?

KH wasn't meant do be a stand alone title. And I don't think that Nomura didn't thought the story and details through.

That's why the author/s of the guide screwed up by writing an information which wasn't true and led to a paradox in the timeline.
