I'm a big fan of PKA(Pain Killer Already) and Woody brought up the question, "Who's life is tougher. Guys or Girls?" So I'm just wondering what you guys think, and why.

its a tie really.

girls have monthly and gets pregnant which is really painful and annoying.

if boys gets kicked in the nuts they go down. and boys have more of a gentleman role.

so it balances it out.

i would write a whole dang novel on this but im too lazy atm

Girls. I am a guy and I say girls. They don't have a choice weather to have periods or not. They fight wars sometimes and they had to work to get just the right to vote. Sorry but girls have the harder life if you ask me.

Why it sucks to be a Guy

-The "gender rules" placed on us make it so that we have to be the ones who make the money and support the family, we have to be the ones to protect family, we have to act smart and respectable to get what we want.(Yes ALL of these are stereotypical, but on the same hand can be held true in most cases, not all though)

-high school girls(I went to an all guys highschool and everything was immature, but funny, and you knew who your friends were. But, my girlfriend at the time, and other friends who went to an all girl highschool, had so much more drama, everyone was "a bitch" to them, friendships changed like every week...so that's got to suck.)

 

Anyway I'm sure I missed a ton for both sides. My pointis that girls have to deal with fewer problems, but they are bigger problems. Guys problems are out there, but they aren't too bad.

Legally, we still can't be anything we want to. (Infantry, ect.)

Actually, there are plenty of girls stronger than boys. Ever seen Surviving the Cut? It's on the Military Channel. In the one about Army Sappers, the girls signed up all made it, and beat out plenty of boys--there were lots of boys not strong enough who were sent home or who quit. (Being an Army Sapper will earn a lot of respect, because it is hard as heck.) Guys are not, by far, the strongest. It's a fairly even divide. Some guys are weaker, some girls are stronger. Guys are not all stronger.

It's a tie. The only reason anybody would say differently is because they're only reviewing the problems of one gender instead of both.

Just gonna say that I hate gender roles and I don't think guys should be expected to be gentlemen. I think we should expect everyone to be polite to everyone. Not just guys towards girls.

It's not sexist to say that males, on average, have more physical strength. It's just a fact... Sure, both genders can have strong or weak people, or smart and not smart or whatever... but you can talk about "on average", or "usually", or "mostly" as josephmahon1 says; it doesn't mean you're being sexist... and to say that "boys are mostly stronger" is definitely not saying "most girls are weak"

This is kind of a tie... people can sit around and give out reasons why which gender has it "tougher" compared to the other and get no real end result. Each gender has their own problems that they have to deal with. Focusing on what one gender does without considering the other does this argument nowhere.

 

Yeah there are certain things that a girl has to deal with that a guy doesn't and there are things a guy deals with that a girl doesn't.

 

Typically guys are built differently than women, and in most cases, have the stronger build than girls. Yes, that doesn't mean a girl can't be as strong as a guy, but everyone is built differently. A girl OR a guy could have a stronger build, or can have a thinner-type build. Usually though, guys do have the bigger/stronger build out of the two.

 

Everyone has hormone's that go haywire when they're in their teens. IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE. Both genders go through shit with puberty. It's part of life. No gender has it better than the other.

 

There are also females that fight in wars too in this day and age. =\ -- They might not be a majority that do, but they definitely are there.

I consider it as a tie. Each list can go on and on and on and on with their facts of why they have it thouger. Yet in the end, there's always something of each side that balances it out.

Guys:

They have the balls, they fight and stand up for the women.

 

Girls:

They fear getting raped and dealt with puberty at an earlier age than guys.

In this day and age, girls. Who says we guys have to fight or make money for a girl? One can easily live a carefree single life of one night stands! But honestly, girls can avoid drama just as easily. So honestly, its more about how smart you are as opposed to your gender.

 

Coming from a kid who has to deal with highschool and college at the same time, and also one of the most carefree on this site.

Everybody has it tough, no gender (for the most part) suffers more than the other in this day and age, but 200 years ago I would definitely say women had it harder, because they had absolutely no rights.
