I'm like that as well, though, I like politics in general, so that's more a reason why. But when I was younger I couldn't care less, and I still felt rather defensive about my country. I think it's a good attribute. Don't be embarrassed about it. The only advice I'd give you is to not make yourself look like an idiot without knowing the facts. The last thing America (or the world for that matter) is more ignorant people.

I'm not super into politics or anything, but I know basically what's going on, like how the Secretary of the Navy just changed, ect. And my dad is super-patriotic, so I've always had that sort of mentality.

I'm into politics and I am more patriotic than your average redneck.

 

And I'm only 16 lol...

 

When the commies invade I'm going to set up a nice little inn for the soldiers to sleep in. Then they wake up in the basement and find that there is a bear trap on their faces, in order to get it off they have to get a key, located inside their commanding officers stomach.

 

Little did they know that this is a test of loyalty and using the key will actually activate the bear trap!

I don't like politics. It's just... It's boring to me and I don't like it.

 

But it's not like I hate America either. America is cool and everything, I'm just not super patriotic about my country. My mom is really patriotic though, and she goes nuts if someone bashes America, our government, our President, etc.

 

Meanwhile, my dad is a racist, anti-semitist poopyhead who hates everyone and everything in America. Go back to Germany, dad.

Like, I just keep saying that I want to live in the U.S once I get older, but if someone begins to badmouth my country... Then I'll try my best to convice them of the contrary.

Pretty much the same here, except I guess I care a little bit and know a little bit.

 

I really hate politics, they are complex and always end up in a huge argument.
