Now before I begin, I'm not a battlefield fanboy or a hater, just expressing my opinion.

I bought MW3 the day it came out and I must say that I am very disappointed. To summarise the game, it is just a rehash of previous games, mostly MW2. There are some new elements but they are not enough to make the game feel new or refreshing. I've been playing online and there are many disappointments. The map layouts are more of the same (bad), weapons are more of the same, graphics is the same and colour is plain boring. Game connections are bad, always losing connections to host, or the game lobby closes. It's very frustrating.

Basically, I much preferred Black Ops from it's day one. It just seems that they didn't put enough quality time and effort into this game, which is sad.

What are your opinions?

My opinion is that it's mw2 without the bullshit, which is the game I wanted/payed for. When it comes to the connection I'M usually getting 3-4 bars and I'm usually running on 25% signal strength, so connection should't be an issue, check your connection I guess. When you say it feels like it hasn't been much of an upgrade I say i'm cool with that, if it isn't broken don't fix it. Anyway I AM a COD fanboy so I am a little biased but still, to me, mw3 is an awesome game, well with friends anyway haha.

I reckon it's great we got it before America. But I've never played Modern Warfare before so I can't say much. Al though from what you say it sounds pretty bad this third one.

I've always heard that MW2 was very good.

I know a lot of people that thinks that MW3 wasn't as good as it should be.

Honestly, I haven't truly played Call of Duty since CoD4.

I played MW2 at my friend's house, but there's just not enough variation for me between them. I'm afraid of trying MW3.

I've already tried it out online when I was over a friend's house, had no idea what to do and people kept trash talking T. T

I've always been ambivalent toward the series. The one thing I can say I legitimately hate about it is that Activision milks their guff for all it's worth. It prevents any sort of major variation between installments due to compressed development time and ultimately doesn't offer any reason to get the new one other than the "neighbor's new car" situation.

It's something that Nintendo is guilty of as well, but at the very least they mix it up at times, and in the cases where they are similar they at least pour enough work in that the game is still enjoyable and generally feels fresh. I'm one of the " Galaxy 2 is better than the first" people, in fact.

Always hated this game, always will. All it is, is recycled trash. Nuff said.

I really don't like the game at all, too many trash talkers when I first played it online. I'm sticking with RPGS

MW3 to me is ok but ur rite black ops multiplayer was better

i don't like military shooters but it's up to peoples opinion i guess.
