Are you calling me stupid? First of all, B+ is not a bad grade. It's pretty average. Secondly, my school does not have low standards. I think that the schools in the US must just mark very easily, since in my Canadian school only 10-15 students in my grade could achieve an average of over 90%. Yes, I was one of them.

If I thought you were stupid I would of said you were by now, trust me. American schools don't mark easily at all, if it is wrong, it's wrong. No partial credit. I just believe those are lower standards because the grade required to pass is lower. Assuming that passing (yet sucky) grades are those evil D's. And while it is a great accomplishment to be be among the few that get in the 90s, considering that America has nearly 10 times the population of Canada there are usually 50 to 200 kids getting in the 90s in the average schools. Doesn't mean we have an easy grading system, just means that the population is a lot higher.

It's clearly a communist scheme. Communist want everyone to be 100% equal. It's a lot easier for them to give everyone low grades than to give everyone high grades. Damn you Stalin!

Dang, I kinda wish I went to your school so I didn't have to work quite as hard to maintain my A average. My last school actually had a grading scale something like this

100-94 A

93-77 B

76-72 C

71-70 D

I can't believe some people's schools consider <70 a fail! There would be so many people failing at my school if it was like that! How do you guys do it? And how do so many people maintain A averages when you have to get over 90???

Gasp!! That's what is wrong with my history teacher! I swear, he is determined to never give me an A on our weekly writing assignments. What's worse is that those are worth more points than the quizzes, so even if I got 100% on all my quizzes, I would still get a B by how he grades my essays. IT MUST BE COMMUNISM!!!

I had a 85 in science. Screwed my lifelong acheivement of straight As.

B is a very good grade at my college. Although it must be brought into account different countries and schools have different systems.
