Posted December 3, 201114 yr I don't know why it is, but all the time I hear people say riku still calls the way to the dawn as the soul eater. I beat KH2 like 3 years ago and I haven't seen the scene where he actually says that. Can somebody tell me what scene that's in?!

December 3, 201114 yr It's not a true cutscene. Outside the door to Kingdom Hearts at the Alter of Naught, when everyone is standing and waiting for you to open the door. You can walk up and talk to the others. I believe Riku calls his keyblade soul eater in a text box.
December 3, 201114 yr its not in a cutscene its either i believe when you reunite with him and kairi if you go talk to him he says something and says something about soul eater or its in the next area before you fight luxord or after you face luxord. i know its one of those because i remember seeing that also. i was like wait a minute thats not the soul eater its different but just keep talking to him with every chance you get and he will eventually say that his keyblade is soul eater and its when hes in his ansem form

If I remember correctly, he drew The Way To The Dawn in a cutscene either after or before XIgbar. He didn't even notice.
December 14, 201114 yr after beating luxord, you can talk to riku at same place. he states that Sora isnt ready to wield dark powers nor his soul eater.
December 26, 201114 yr tutti frutti. I don't remember Riku calling his Keyblade the Soul Eater. But I do remember him making a comment about the Soul Eater much like how TheKingdomkid mentioned. Either that or there was a typo, similar to what Roxas meant in that fight between him and Sora.

December 26, 201114 yr What do you mean? In the fight between Sora and Roxas, Roxas says,"Why did he choose you?" when it should have been, "Why did it choose you?" He was asking why Sora was chosen to wield the Keyblade.

Yeah, Ven did unknowingly did allow Sora to wield the Keyblade on top of taking care of his heart due to the events of BBS. But before BBS, it was often assumed that the Keyblade actually chose its wielder, over the ability to use the Keybalde to be passed on. I remember someone posting that the line about the Keyblade was a mistake in KH2 of what Roxas said to Sora. As Cricket pointed out.
